I bought Nokia N79 some days ago, everything was fine but today morning I got some problem with SMS. When I try to send SMS it goes in outbox and keep sending again and again, after some time it shows that SMS sending failed.
After searching on net I can to know that many other people got same problem, some claim that it solved automatically but others are still waiting for official solution from Nokia.
I tried changing SIM of different operator to ensure that it is not a network problem but same thing happened at other SIM. After features are working smoothly without any problem, I am waiting for solution for this problem.
Update – My phone problem is fixed now. I updated phone software with inbuilt tool.

nokia is undoubtedly the most sucking cellphone company ever. They have no proper answers to their products issues. and they dont even know wheher such issue arises or not.
Hell with nokia and go with other brands, sony seriously rocks no matter how u treat it.

Thanks for the post. Nokia phones always have some problems,
may be they will find a good solution for it soon.
Nokia phones are pathetic when it comes to advance features.
Only the basic older models of Nokia was ok.
Their support also sucks. I got my N79 repaired twice from Nokia Care and same issue would occur. Every time their support would simply upgrade/downgrade the software.
No permanent fix.
Looks like Nokia has hired cheap electrical technicians to do the job.
I have decided to switch over to Sony.
Will not buy Nokia again nor recommend it to any friend.
My N79 is showing problem while sending sms. The sms not going from outbox, it shows Resend, but when i resend againg it still there in outbox with resend tag. I have tried with other SIM also, but this problem still existing in my mobile. I have checked in the full network covarage area, but till though its not working. Please suggest how to overcome this problem.
Hi i m gaurav gureja .. the best solution for that is remove ur memory card… take ur contacts backup …. and dial *#7370# … its ask to u restore original setting press yes ….. enter pin code … 12345….. and ur problem is solved .. e
and Nokia is the best then the other company …..
