Google Reader is the best tool to catch news and updates from all your favorite blogs and websites. Sometimes I won’t feel like reading my feeds just because I’m fed up with Google Reader’s interface and I think this happens with many people! Here, in this post I will discuss a number of Userstyles which can really make your Google reader interesting and beautiful. With Userstyles you can personalize your favorite websites like Facebook, Google reader etc. Userstyles have cross-browser compatibility, so it doesn’t matter what browser you’re using.

How to install Userstyles?

Userstyles can be installed in two ways, one is through Stylish extension, Stylish is a Userstyles manager for Firefox and Chrome. Another way is to install Userstyles as a Userscript. I would prefer installing as a Userscript as they are less memory-hungry compared to extensions.

Additional tip: To use Userscripts in Chrome, just give space and add “–enable-user-scripts” switch at the end of “Target” of Chrome’s shortcut.

Still didn’t get it? I have just changed “C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” to “C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” –enable-user-scripts . Facebook is not only for sharing with friends, you can also use it to improve your ranking in Google. Matt Cutts explain in this video that they use Facebook data to rank sites.

In that video Matt said that they were not using social media data some month before but now they are using it. Social links are more important than backlinks in many ways.

If you want to use Facebook to improve you ranking than you have to add Like or Share button on your site. When a user click on like button it will be published on his news feed and visible to all his friends. This is a good way to get social traffic and improving your Google ranking.

If more people click on like button it will give you more traffic from Facebook and ranking in Google. But it also depend on user profile, his reputation is measured from his profile.

I have tried it on my new domain and it worked.

Earlier, Facebook used users to make site available in various languages. Now, Twitter is following same path. Users can sign in to Twitter Translation Center using their twitter account.

After signing in users can choose product which they want to help in translation. Users can translate in French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Turkish. You can also request your language on that page where you choose language.

A K Vishwanath has claimed that his car can fly. He made his flying car from India’s first small car Maruti 800. Maruti 800 was built-in the 80s by Suzuki. This car was developed by Vishwanath’s company, this car is named B’Lorean.

The inventor is 52-year-old who has spent his 16 years in this Flying Car. He has 40 patents, told reporters that he was inspired from many sources including bees.

This car is powered initially by an electrical generator, after which its engine pumps out so-called ‘energy flows’ which provide lift-off and cruising. This car can lift up like an aeroplane. This car got attention in Aero India Show 20011 in Bangalore.

Indians government is not going to count users profiles for census 2011, they are going to use Facebook ant Twitter like websites to aware people about Census. There are rumors that Facebook and Twitter will be used for Cesnsus which people got in wrong way.

The Madhya Pradesh government and the UN Children’s Fund (Unicef) held a full day workshop on the role of media in Census 2011.

Officials announced that 2 page of information is already published on Facebook to make people aware.

Sachin Sinha, director of the directorate for census work said “While the centre’s brand ambassadors are Sachin Tendulkar and actress Priyanka Chopra, lyricist Gulzar and television actress Divyanka Tripathi would be the brand ambassadors for census work in Madhya Pradesh,”.

“It is a real challenge for us to include everyone – from beggars to the elite class – in census,” he added.

Census 2011 second phase will begin Feb 9 and continue till 28 across India.
